recently i asked that question on another thread and didn't really get ananswer.
cofty made an excellent point that we often hear what it isn't, but that really isn't useful.. so, what is it?
If god exists there and can do anything it makes him a tyrant. Or at least, human with special magic powers...
and i still have a problem with that because even if thoseen were caused to hear voices god creatd their bodies to react to stimuli, secrete certain chemicals and their body reacts. To have them just be caused to hear or see something with zero substance or zero molecular or atomic interaction (please correct me if im wrong) is kinda nutty.
well my wife and i still arent attending meetings....we first agreed to go here and there...oops.
anyways we missed the last meeting and suddenly our phone blew up!
it was like 17 missed calls!

But i have to sympathize. They dont know any better and im sure their concern is sincere. But goodness...its like having an overprotective mom checking on you to make sure you were ok crossing the street to check the mail.
My resolve to move has increased 10 fold this week so im no longer tied to the troof at all...twighlight zone.

We God must be made of something inorder to create and interact with all those people from the Bible...certainly even speaking with thunderous power is measurable and would have to create sound waves right? So hed have to have something on the mollecular or atomic level in order for us to sense kr be affected. Must be why he stopped speaking so all could hear, he knew wed have devices to measure his sound waves.....(:-l).
Then comes the questions about where God got whatever hes made out of....God can come from nothing but the universe cant eh? .......but sorry to stray off topic.

Like spirit you claim God exists without proof. Right again. If i believed fairies were real because of the history or mythokogy behind their existence....it has just as much credibility does it not? If not, why?

So then admit it comatose. There is no proof spirit exists. its a guess. Thats what belief is, isnt it?
the lawyers acting on behalf of the wtbts/g.b./'mother' during a paedophile case a couple of years ago, have stated on record that - .
a) "field ministry is not controlled or monitored by the elders, the congregation, or watchtower".
b) "an individual publisher's field ministry activity, including the time and manner it is carried out, is a personal matter between the publisher and his god.".
If it isnt monitored then how do they know where the need is greater lol

Ruby--actually intelligence leads to discovery of facts....ignorance does not. Viviane and, I believe, everyone here would really like to just know some simple answers --what is spirit? Or What is it made of? Does it contain atoms?
Remember , there is wisdom is saying "I don't know". But so far there is not a shred of measurable evidence that would tell me its an entity of some sort but rather a metaphorical or figurative term used to describe traits that humans possess.
I think Ruby hit the nail on the head:

well its been a while since my doubts were first realized.
ive been through hell mentally, but no where near what some on this site and those lurking have been through.
i got lucky, if you believe in that sort of thing.
Update: well my wife and i are still looking to move, searching for work but she has come a long way....we know now this stuff is nuts! But we have to start over and move on! Enjoy nature and life and love! Life is so fantastic evenat its toughest when you have freedom
